Welcome to August, everyone! It’s hard to believe that it’s actually August already, but here we are. July was a great month for me, both with A Round of Words in 80 Days and all my usual projects, and I’m hoping August to be even better! The blog itself managed to net over a hundred more views than my most eventful month so far, May. I think a lot of that has to do with the great support network from RoW80, so thank you guys so much for visiting and making me feel amazing.
With the beginning of a new month, I set aside the project I’ve been working on to pick up a new one. The drag queen Charlie’s Angels book wound us a few pages short of the goal (I ended up going to bed a little early last night instead of writing), but it was a lot of fun and definitely something I’m likely to revisit again. As for this month’s novel, I’m still torn between whether or not I want to take another stab at getting my Arynethian The Unknown Scourge out, or if I want to play around with the Phantamagoria-inspired piece I returned to earlier last month. I suppose I’ll know today, when I start writing it, and I’ll go with whichever presents itself.
It’ll be either sci-fi rebellion against an evil government and human genetic testing, or a horror piece about demonic forces and lot of blood and murder. Either way should be a lot of fun, right?
